Kuranda 2010

We're off! Terrific old train cars, sugar cane, views, Barron Gorge and quaint station.

Kuranda Railway, 1887-1910

Begun as a quest for gold and way to avoid wash outs lower down the run from Cairns and Heberton, this railway construction is an engineering feat. Constructed in three sections over 23 grueling years through rain forest and steep elevation it has remained a tourist attraction for over 100 years.

Cairns...pronounced Cans....what?

Which way should we go?

Swim with the crocs, step on a crab...excellent!

Terrific produce market...the absolute best carrots.
.

Ok so the eye candy wasn't so bad either!

Last Day in Sydney with Tour Guide Westley

David, Gerald and I got the insider view of East Coast Sydney with a true character!

Bondi Beach...I think the salt air agrees with Gerald and me!

The site used for the Nicole Kidman's home in the film Australia plus view from the porch.

Beautiful private spots just a commute to downtown!

The Three Kookaburras!

Botanical Gardens and Sydney Harbor Bridge

What a fun day hanging out with Tim Davis... 70+, wicked humor, and sure does not slack off when it comes to walking and climbing 200+ stairs!

Captain James Cook...1770, first European to land on the eastern coast of Australia.

Saint Mary's Cathedral....well come on how could I not stop in?

Garden delights.

"Bloody Hell" of a good day!
